hmm, that isn't what my doctor told me lol. and there isn't 400mg theres 400ug

i stopped taking my folic acid at 12 wks throughout all of my pregnancies but i do eat a lot of cereals that contain it :-)

I've also heard to keep taking it while breastfeeding as well.

Why don't u ask ur doctor? I dont think u should risk about it. I would never ask anyone else about stoppin something imp as Folic acid

The user guide on my bottle of folic acid says I'm not supposed to be taking it until after 8 weeks. Doc said until 10 weeks. I plan on taking it a bit longer though. hahaha
