I take 2 stool softeners every night before bed and make sure you get plenty of fluids with that too. Water makes very Ill atm so I have been drinking gatorade.

hydration is so important. Raisin bran is your friend.

Hiya

I am getting a lot of progesterone due to my high risk pregnancy and this on its own creates double the problem.

I found that lots of fibre and dried fruit seems to be helping a lot. Opt for wholemeal carbs and avoid too much meat.

Chamomile tea helps as well as veg and fruit.

Very important, drink LOTS of water

I stay away from any form of laxatives and stool softeners and tend to find natural foods to help me with this problem.

it's better to stick to the natural foods and juices. Avoid tablets and similar things.

I've been suffering from that for the last couple of days and it's been awful, as you know. I drink lots, eat lots of fruits, and still nothing. Probably it was that I didn't during the bank holiday.

Yes, the other thing that helps is exercise (walk, bike, anything you like doing).
