I'm Currently Feeling: | Too early to see the midwife? Hi
I am new to this forum! Did a Home Pregnancy test last Monday (period was due Thursday just gone) and it was positive, went to visit my doctor on the tuesday who said to wait a couple of weeks before booking in the see the midwife (he did not do another test).
tested the day after - positive, tested again Thursday and Saturday still saying positive!!
Is it too early to see the midwife this Thursday - I will be 5 weeks nearly 6 weeks?
I am unsure though whether i got pregnant the month before... i came off the pill two months ago, after 5 weeks got a small period (not too heavy), so presumed i was not pregnant. doctor said i could be pregnant from the month before which would mean about 8 / 9 weeks pregnant! | | | | Status: Offline

| they will send you a letter out to go and see the midwife, they will do the normal checks on you like blood pressure, make sure or your details are right, and ask you a couple of question |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks for your replies, I just rang and checked at the doctors that it was ok to go see the midwife if 5/6 weeks and she said yes definately not too early!
I don't seem to have any symptom as yet, although a little more tired then usual, how was anyone else at 5/6 weeks? I am thinking i am more like this then 8/9 coz surely i would have had some symptoms by now. I now my mum and sister has horrendous morning sickness from finding out until the delivery room!! something which i am presuming i will have to look forward to! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Some people have no symptoms atall. You'll soon find out how pregnant you are and untill then enjoy not being sick |
