noooo. unless you drank many many gallons i doubt very muchly its going to affect your baby in any way although they do tell you to limit the amount of coffee you have because of caffene but me however rarly drink coffee but am always drinking fat coke aswell as other healthy drinks and currently have a 28 week old fidget healthy as ever kicking me so hard which is y im still up!! what am saying is coke is just as bad as coffee am sure and with me drinking it daily has had no ill effects

TBH hon I would try to keep it at one cup per day. While the occasional two cups is probably OK, it's still best to cut back. That being said, there are much worse things you could be doing!

The food standards agency here recommends no more than 200mg of caffeine per day in pregnancy, which roughly equates to 2 mugs of instant coffee, so as long as you don't go overboard with it, you should be fine.

After our MC in February i cut out caffeine pretty much all together, just the odd square of chocolate or cup of hot chocolate but as i have got further along i allow myself a treat now and again, like a glass of cola, which i didn't drink much before being pregnant but have been really craving! I've even had the odd cup of 'normal' tea but on the whole i try to stick to de-caff tea and coffee and alternatives like fruit tea and juice etc.

I think it's just about keeping things in moderation.

Hope that helps.

Bubby can't process the caffeine and it can cause a MC. That said a couple of cups a day should be fine.

Too much caffiene stops you absorbing iron - which is another reason not to drink too much - your probably taking pre-natel vits and such inc iron, but this is useless if you drink to much caffiene, you would just be peeing it out. Bubs and you need your iron to produce the extra blood needed.
