lower back pain?

I didnt think it was possible to have such back pain this early in pregnancy! i went to the doctor who checked me over and he said it isnt uncommon for women to experience lower back pain even early on due to hormonal changes, it goes if i lye down and go to sleep but then ten minutes after waking up and moving about i get it again! anyone else experiencing this?

Also how do I go about booking a private scan?

Im getting back pain and have done for weeks..its kinda in the side although my oh reckons its not sciatica as that goes into your bum apparently. If the docs arent too worried then i wouldnt unless its causing you real agony.

I just googled private scans in south west (do it for your particular area) and found the best one. We had to travel quite a way but our scan was only £50..we had 2 in the end, and i would reccomend it as you cannot put a price on reasurance

xx

I didnt need a referal, that might be with bupa - although surely if the nhs is refering you then they should be doing themselves? No i dont think you need a referal..try googling baby bond..they might have one near you?
