I'm Currently Feeling: | I am so confused!! It's about Duphaston! Ok. So when I saw my doc, he did prescribe me to take 2 pills of Duphaston.
Duphaston are progesterone pills that help avoid miscarriage from happening and makes the womb of the baby stronger.
I did some research and I had some contradiction found!! I need someone to help me!!
On my first result it says: Quote:
Lowers risk of spontaneous abortion through immunologic action
Immunomodulation holds the key to successful pregnancies among women susceptible to spontaneous abortion or miscarriage. This, according to experts, is the emerging view that could help "explain the unexplained" cause in at least 40 percent of pregnancy losses.

The second says: Quote:
if you are pregnant, or are
planning to become
pregnant; DUPHASTON
may affect your developing
baby if you take it during pregnancy

What should I do???? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm sorry, I can't help you, but I would take what you've had to your doctor and ask him to explain it to you.
I've had two miscarriages and a D&C with one but I wasn't given that this time around. I was just deemed "High risk" which just means they'll watch me a little more. Not much they can do at this point I guess. *shrugs* |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I asked a previous doctor of mine back in my homeland, and he definetly said it's safe to take it. My cousin, who is on her third month of pregnancy, has been taking 6 pills of them daily.
These are hormone pills, contain progesterone. Internet sometimes can harm facts and true information, and that makes me sick! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | you can always ask the pharmacist. they are readily available and you don't need an appointment to see them. |
