I'm Currently Feeling:  | 12 week check up
My appointment with my midwife went very well today. She said the heartbeat sounds great, as does the placenta. My uterus is just as it should be. She did say that she thinks I need to be gaining more weight. I have gained 5 lbs so far. She feels that since I started out underweight per her chart for my height, I need to eat more than I am now. Other than that, it was great. |

Don't worry over much about the weight, as soon as you hit around 15-16 weeks you'll be wanting to eat everything in sight  |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Drs. are interesting how they all care and have opinions about different stuff. I went to mine and I've lost about 4 lbs. because I got the flu and he wasn't even concerned. I would listen to her, especially if you were underweight before. I was by no means overweight, about perfect for my height (5'9" and 145 lbs.) before I got pregnant when I got sick I was down to 137 and now I'm about 141.
Glad that everything else went well! Did she do an US? I'm curious because I have my 12 week (really it's 11 1/2 weeks) on Monday and was wondering if they would do one. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Holl, I am using a midwife, and she does not do ultrasounds, and doesnt even want me to have one till 24 weeks. I did go to Planned Parenthood last weekend and had a dating sonogram done. It was awesome!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh yeah, I remember that was you that won't be getting US.
When I went to the Dr. on Tuesday he eluded to that I won't be getting an US at the appointment on Monday. |
