We never really had one at first, it was "it" or "the baby". We started calling her "Bethanie" before we knew she was a girl.

We started off calling our 'Creature', but it seemed kinda...horror movie to us, so now it's 'Peanut' and occassionally 'the blob' cause of how it looked in the scan.

My initial MD appt is Nov 19th, apparently we just talk and make sure I'm being a good mum eating my veggies and whatnot. And I think she orders my bloodwork then as well.
I have my physical scheduled for December 3th. I imagine (and really, really hope!) that I'll get my 1st ultrasound at that point, I'll be midway through my 8th week. I really want to see the kid! Waiting has never been one of my my stronger traits.

I don't think it's really hit me yet that there is actually something in there.

We named ours last night as *Twinkle Toes* dont ask why because I dont know lol

The baby, it, and if I want to annoy my boy wanting husband I say She.

Holl I felt the same way, I was convinced there was nothing in there, it was in my head till I heard the heartbeat. Now that I am hitting 12 weeks, it is dawning on me that I am actually having a baby.

We call ours "Little One". We weren't able to determine the sex last U/S, but once we do, we will call it by the names we have chosen. Something will probably come natural to you after a little bit. Me and my DH talk to the baby, and it made it easier to call him/her something.

We call ours "BOB" (baby on board). We called our daughter the same thing when we were pregnant with her, until we found out what we were having. So this one is Bob too until we know if it's a boy or girl, lol!
