Little Monkey

We have 3 lovely boys and I am 5 weeks pregnant. I was wondering when is the best time to tell the kids that they are going to have a little brother or sister. Our oldest son is 9 and he already suspects something is going on.

I had a missed miscarriage 5 years ago at 8 weeks (didnt find out till I was 13 weeks at first scan). We were both glad we told our oldest son (our second son was only 10 months old at the time) about the pregnancy and even now he keeps saying hes glad he knew about it. He always remembers the date I had the miscarriage as our youngest son was born the same day 1 year later.

Our sons are now 9, 6 and 4 years (on 27th Nov) and not sure if its best to tell them soon or wait until the 1st scan. Any Advice or suggestions please.

I would wait until you get your scan to let them know. If everything looks good then I would go ahead and tell them.

i told my younger brothers and sisters after my 1st scan, i showed them the pic and explained what was happening
