Question

I got the results back today for my HCG test. I am currently 4 wks pg. My doc told me to expect result of round about 200 to show the pregnancy is progressing well. The result was 534! Does anyone know if this is normally high? Had another blood test today (48 hours) hopefully get those results tomorrow.

it's perfectly fine!! mine was 531 at the same time.

My dr. never checked again until much later at 9 weeks when it was around 114 000.

No worries!!

I'm still in shock that i actually fell pg. Prob wont sleep now til i get next results. Should they have doubled even though doc said 200 and i got 534? If so that means they have to be over 1000. Is that right?

yeah, your next result you need to expect around 100. of course, your doubling time may be longer (maybe 72 hrs or 96 hrs) but as long as the levels are going significantly UP and not down it should all be good.
