Question

Old Wives Tales Predicts Gender!

Ok so I went to my friends house today and she took a necklace and placed it over my right wrist. If it swings side to side... its a boy... and if it swings in circles its a girl.... if it does NOTHING... then you're done.. no more kids!

So she did this to me and it came up with 2 boys and then stopped after that!!! How weird?!?! She said this has been right every single time... its nice... but then it got me thinking... will I ever buy pink clothes??? or just always blue?

I do know my first is a boy... cause I feel it.. and again... my sister went to a psychic and they told her I'm having a boy...

Does anyone know of any other wives tales??? this one is like the needle and the thread over the belly... that one I know... is it possible to plan a pregnancy and to plan the sex of the baby?? I know I shouldn't care... HEALTHY IS ALL THAT MATTERS! I know.

Hey hun

I've just done the necklace test. Mine was swinging in circles which I guess means a girl. We really don't want to know the sex until he/she is born, but it's fun guessing.

I have a book full of old wives tales - everything from who you'll marry, what your wedding date means, to finding out the sex of your baby. I love things like that. I'll drag it out and see what I can find x

PITBULL- If it went front to back thats kind of like side to side... so maybe boy?

My sister peed in a cup of drano. It was the worst smelling stuff ever!
I think it's supposed to be after you pee, swirl it around (which is when the smell will hit). A blue, yellow, green, brown, or black colour will be a boy and purple will be a girl. Anyway, I think that's how it went. Her's turned brown/black and lo and behold, she's having a boy. I think I'll just wait the 20 weeks for my u/s though...

Ok, this is going to sound very detailed, but this is what I've heard....

When my mother and father were trying to get pregnant with a boy, the fertility doctor told them that there are special ways to have sex when trying for a certain gender. Bear with me here, Ha!

When trying to conceive a boy, you are to do it with the man behind you (doggy style for those of us who use the term) and any other way in which the sperm is deposited into the woman very deep. The deeper the man is, the more of a chance you'll have a boy. I know, very detailed! When trying for a girl, you are to do it missionary style with the girl on bottom of course. These are just ways the fertility doctor told my mom...and she said she tried it and they ended up conceiving my brother. No one really knows I guess until the ultrasound, but it's fun to think about. All of the signs point to a boy with me as well...so I'm excited to find out at my ultrasound.
