Getting confirmation

Hi

Have taken 6 tests in the last few days which were all positive, but I'm still worried about it just being a 'false positive'. I don't know how likely it is etc - I'm very new to all this. I just want to get confirmation from a doctor but they won't see me for two weeks!!! Is there anything else I can do??

I can't settle at all with all this not knowing. I don't even know what to feel or not feel until I know for sure.. One side of me is happy, but another side is telling me not to get carried away...but I can't live in this limbo until 15th April!

You are defenitly pregnant! its best if they see you only in two weeks time, if they do a scan you will be able to see your little baby (bean) if you go now they will probebly see nothing, maybe just a sac if your lucky.........

Phew! I just want to be able to tell my mum but I don't want to get her all upset/excited (I'm not sure what her reaction will be) until its all definite.

This is just completely surreal. 2 days ago I definitely wasn't thinking about folic acid!

when i rang the doctors to get an appointment i couldnt get one for ages so i explained that it was to confirm a pregnancy and they gave me the mid-wives number and said to get some info from them.

when i got through to the mid-wife she said that it would have been a waste of time to see the doctor anyway and he would of just given me their number. so i'm booked in direct for our 1st appointment in april.

Me too - 15th April

Maybe I'm just being too fussy. I have no one to ask these things too so thank you all!

I went to the dotors today to confirm. He just asked me if I had taken a home pregnancy test. I said 3! Then he said the midwife does everything from now on. She see's you at 10 weeks so i've got to wait another month before anything happens!!! I did get a load of booklets to look through.
