a chemical pregnancy is the same as a very early miscarriage, so i guess a really strong positive indicates you've got quite a bit of pg hormone going on so is a good sign, but can never rule out losing the pregnancy early on or later.

I think chemical is a really early mc, and most women don't even find out they are pregnant as it can happen before AF is due, or a day or 2 later and you just think it is AF. But im not 100% sure, sorry x

My understanding is that if you test before AF is due its always possible that you will have a chemical pregnancy....thats the disadvantage of these tests that let you test 4 days before you are due. Best to be positive though! A strong line would indicate high hormone levels. Good luck!

A strong line is a good sign, but chemical pregnancies are part of fertility. They are very common. Over my life, I have had two that I am sure of, and one that looking back I am pretty sure was one.

With your strong line, you are probably good, but if a CP should occur, it should not affect your future chances.

We are told only to worry, if you have 3 consecutive CP
.Here's hoping your bean is a sticky one

I had two prior chemicals with fainter lines than this one. This one was really strong and everyone told me it was a really good sign that it was sticky. However, I wouldn't rule anything out. While I do feel it is a good indicator that the pregnancy would not be an actual chemical, it cannot predict whether you will or will not miscarry eventually. Can you get bloods taken to test HCG?

If you can get a quant, it might put your mind more at ease. If the hCG is strong and doubling within 2-3 days, that is a very good sign of a continuing pregnancy. Good luck!

A chemical or blighted ovum is when the embryo attaches to the uterus starts producing hcg, but then falls away as there is something wrong with it. The hcg will slowly start to diminish, and you willthen bleed like a miscarriage. If you lines are still strong thats a very good sign
