I'm Currently Feeling: | stomach pains? hi guys, as some of you may know i had a pos hpt 2 days ago. i'm totally new to the whole pregnancy thing as it was unexpected so i'm very unprepared as you can imagine.
now that i know, i feel concious of pains in my stomach, kind of dull aching pains which i imagine are normal, they're not overly painful but last night i was lieing on my belly and had a shooting pain go through my lower left abdomen, it happened twice, but the first time i actually cried out in shock. i haven't had any bleeding or other abnormalities whatsoever, so i'm just wondering if these kind of pains are normal and if i can look forward to more of them?
now that i know i'm pregnant, having the dull pain in my stomach kind of comforts me bc i know that it's a good sign. i've got my fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong bc even though it wasn't planned, i want this so much now
listen to me getting all soppy
thanks again guys x

I'm Currently Feeling: | Pains & cramps are normal - I have had a couple of times that I have had a little sob from little shock pains.
Any pain that makes you double over in agony or occompanied by spotting/bleeding you should seek some medical reassurance however anything that puts you out of mind with worry I think people should do the same to for some 'calm' |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was just about to post a new thread with nearly word for word what you wrote sarafet.. I was laying in bed last night and felt lots of aching, really low down and a few sharp shooting type pains.. Ive not had any kind of bleeding or spotting either.. But the aching feels like muscle stretching kinda..
How many weeks are you Sarafet ? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Louisa I don't have an exact date yet, but anywhere between 6-10wks we think.
I had an abnormal bleed just over 6 weeks ago, not like period blood though so it's either since that or before that, only the dating scan will tell.
the shooting pain i had was such a shock too, and the other pains are kind of crampish and a stretching feeling, just like a dull ache now and again.
i've had no sickness (yet,) just nausea. My boobs are agony though, so tender and sore | | | | Status: Offline

| i had pains and cramping in early pregnancy the midwife just told me to have a bath and a cup of tea and relax and it should pass and generally it did. But its amazin how you pick up and worry about the smallest thigns when you're preggy! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yeah I really worry about everything, every little ache, cramp and pain..
Why do we get so many cramps and aches when the baby is soooooo tiny at this stage.. |
