Confusion about due date

Hi, I hope someone can shed some light on this.

My scan yesterday measured at 12 weeks, 5 days but the midwife put my due date at 17th of April which would make me 12 weeks, 4 days
It was the same with my 7 week scan, I was 7 weeks exactly but midwife put date out a day or so.

Which date is right?! Should it be the 16th or 17th?

I know it seems petty but I want to get it right!!

I went with my own date because I knew when I had my period and my midwife confirmed my due date as 3rd jan but accidentally wrote the 5th jan, so from then after.. everyone was just copying her date. I tried to explain it was a mistake to one midwife and pretty much had a little argument about when I was due, she then tried to prove me wrong with one of those wheels and realised I was due on the 3rd not the 5th. If you feel a mistake has been made, do say.. but scans are the most accurate.

The scan date (especially the early one) will probably be the most accurate. Chances are you won't deliver on either date though lol. But I know what you mean about wanting to get it right.

The scan date would be the most accurate but just pick the one you want! A day won't make much odds. maybe go with the one that is written down as your edd on all ur paperwork cuz that will be the date they work with if you need to be induced or anything!

My midwife didn't give me a due date, because the baby will come when the baby comes. She said the end of May, first of June.

Thanks everyone I want to go for the 16th but I really shouldn't rely on these dates anyway - they would put my ovulation date on cd10 which is near impossible on my cycles... I may go well over my due date!
