2nd ultrasound

alright so I had my second ultrasound because my doctor wanted to make sure that it was not another ectopic pregnancy. I also found out that after 5-6 weeks your HCG levels double every 48-96 hours. So it can take up to 4 days for your levels to double. As long as your levels continue to go up then you are fine. my sac got biggier! and I go again at 8 weeks for my next scan.

Here is the picutre at 6 weeks and 3-4 days

i saw my baby around 7 weeks, and I didn't really see much, quite honestly. Thank goodness they point everything out! haha. I saw the gestational sac and whatnot, and the tiny tiny tiny cell-like thing that looked like my baby and a little heart flickering. I went back at around 10 weeks and OMG! What a difference. I couldn't believe it had grown that much! I saw the head, the arms, and tiny stubs for legs lol. It was gorgeous. He/She was dancing around for me in there too.

So that just goes to show how much difference a few weeks makes! I'm sure you'll be in awe of how much bigger it is next time you go. I'm very happy that everything is okay with you and your bubs You'll be surprised how quickly time goes by and how they grow so rapidly!

The difference between my 6 week and 8 weeks was huge. Well... it went from a see through sac to a big bean, which seems like a big deal to any mom of course!
