Question

Discharge anyone???

Ok I've been having some discharge lately.. and my Doc. said that would happen due to increased levels of hormones...

This morning when I woke up to go pee... I wiped and saw light brownish discharge... never saw that before... no cramps or nothing didn't even know I had it until I wiped...

Has this happened to anyone else?? and is it normal??? I called my mom and she told me its pretty normal but shes also not a Doc. She then told me she had the same thing for 3 months straight , when she was pregnant with my brother....Could I be following in her footsteps??

I spotted like that for weeks & only noticed on visiting the bathroom. Bleeding, brown discharge is common in pregnancy. Bleeding that is red, clots & or accompanied by pain should be checked out.

An yip could very well follow in her footsteps

If it continues & worries you I would contact your GP or MW just to put your mind at ease x x

I never had brownish discharge, but I did have an awful lot of clear and milky white! I thought something was wrong, because there was just loads of it. I brought it up with my doctor and she said it's completely normal during pregnancy. I only had it for about a week or so, now back to normal. I don't think you've got anything at all to worry about Dee!

Yep, I've got it too. The first week it was slightly pink, and then it was white and now this morning it was brown. My OBGYN said it was totally normal.

yeah I had some brownish discharge at about 7 weeks. I had a doctors appointment the same day and she reassured me that it was perfectly normal. The brown is old blood. She said the time to worry (and even then it can be normal) is when the blood is bright and fresh. I hope this helps

I think that as long as it was brown and not really red is a good sign. If you start having consistent menstral type cramps for a long period of time and blood...is when you need to really be concerned. I am 8 weeks now and it's discharge city.
