Someone told me that you shouldnt take baths while you are pregnant... is that true? Cause for some reason, some nights I just really want to relax in the tub. |

Obviously you can't have it HOT HOT but sense will tel youw hats ok ... I certainly don't take cold baths lol x |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Baths are fine. I heard the reason you shouldn't have a bath "Late into your pregnancy" is because bubs head is down low and the hot water makes bubs turn back up into breach position. Now not sure how true that it, just something I heard many years ago when I was pregnant with my kids. Also heard if bubs was in breach position to put a hot water bottle on the top of tummy to get bubs to turn around.
Again not facts just stories.

| A bath is fine!
The reason you are not supposed to have a really hot bath, sauna, sunbed etc... is because the baby can't regulate its own body temperature - You control its temperature and if baby gets too hot, it can't do anything to make itself cool down. |
