6 weeks

Hi guys

I'm currently six weeks pregnant with my first baby, which is very exciting!! My husband and I found out last Friday when we did two tests that came up positive straight away! We couldn't believe our eyes as we have been trying for about 8 months now.
I've seen my doctor who didn't do much apart from tell me my rough due date (27th May 200 and take my blood pressure.
I'm not feeling sick which I suppose is a blessing but its also confusing, I have been getting mild cramp like feelings and going to the bathroom a lot.
I have my first 'booking in' appointment with the midwife on 30th October which seems ages away! I was just wondering whether I should be feeling sick by now or having any other symptoms? It might sound silly but because I haven't had any other symptoms, I'm worrying that I'll get to my appointment and they'll tell me I have made a mistake and there's no baby (silly I know).

I don't feel that sick either most days. Some people don't have any symptoms.

Hi Fifi, congrats on your pregnancy!! As for the symptoms, it may be a bit early still. I did not start to experience any until weeks 8/9. In any event you be one of the lucky ones and have no sickness or fatigue!

Wish you the best over the next 9 months!

Not everyone feels sick when pregnant, everybodies symptoms are different. Cramps are normal it is your body changing getting prepared to carry your bub for the next 8mths.

CONGRATULATIONS

Yesterday when I went to the dr. and I told him I wasn't sick and not really having any symptoms by being tired, he said give it a week or two. I'm thinking positive that I'm one of the lucky ones!
