eat healthy, take your folic acid, plenty of water :-) you might get slighty crampy pains which can be quite normal so dont worry. Apart from that just enjoy these first couple of months x

And dont forget your fibre! Im hoping i avoid the constipation stage ha ha!!

Oh, and keep a bag of ginger biscuits and paperbags in your handbag, just incase morning sickness creeps up unexpectantly!

Take your folic acid at night before bed, if you get morning sickness that way it stays down.
Eat little and often. Drink plenty of water, but if you can't stomach it, suck on ice-cubes.
Sleep as much as you need to and don't feel guilty as pretty soon you'll be woken up by strange crazy dreams.
Get yourself a comfy support bra fitted as soon as your boobs start to feel like they've been steam-rollered.
Be prepared for boob itching, waking up for a pee, going off all your favourite foods, and being so tired you can hardly stand.
Also, be prepared to burst into tears the second you see your baby's heart beating for the first time!

The good news is, all these things pass fairly shortly and you'll soon be blooming.

Congratulations x

Welcome Alibeebs!

All I can add to what the other girls have said is, pregnancy is a hell of a ride! Never be afraid to come on here and ask for advice - no such thing as a silly question here, and you won't find a more supportive bunch of people anywhere

x

PS. GersPrincess - random fact for you - your 20 week scan is due for exactly 20mins after mine

The doc adds on a further 2 weeks that is why they ask you the date of your last period. xxx
