Scared - had to go to EPU

Ive posted before, asking how much cramping is normal during very early pregnancy.
Well, the cramps are still here & since yesterday Ive been getting a sharp pain in my right lower abdomen. It got so bad this morning that I felt short of breath.
I had one episode of pinky watery cm at lunchtime today too - so went into panic mode.

I called my doc for an appt but by the time they called me back it was too late as the surgery had closed. So I went to the EPU this afternoon, I thought I was only 4w3d but they reckon 5w4d & they were lovely.

They tried an US but she couldnt see anything so I had to consent to a vaginal scan. It was bearable, but laying with legs akimbo made the pain worse

There is a sac, no hb as yet (but as mw said, it too early to expect to see anything) and she did say the sac wasnt in a place she was very happy with.
Anyway, sac is to the left, but my pain is to the right so she scanned more & found a cyst on right ovary. Corpus Luteum cyst? She & consultant said its possible the cyst is causing the pain but cant be sure right now.
The consultant adv bloods be taken, and retested in 48hrs - to check HCG etc doubling. If its not then it possible the little eggy/spermy didnt make it right into my uterus properly & will have to face being told its ectopic.
If HCG etc is normal then I have to return for another scan the following week.

So, I have to go back on Thursday am for more bloods, I should get the result that afternoon.

Im so so so scared, DH is upset too. We just have to wait tho.
Mw said its not a tubal ectopic but isnt in a good place inuterine - but she had seen worse go full term...

So, we wait. Im glad I trusted my instincts & went to hospital, we'd rather know sooner rather than later.

Oh honey, keeping everything crossed for you. Hope you get some pain relief and that you get good news in a few days. Please don;t let yourself go down the mental route of "what if", you have reason to be positive. I am SURE if it was a predicted worst outcome they would be quite blunt about it. Sending you hugs.
