Should i have told people?

I had a scan last week and everything was ok. I am now 11.5 weeks and I have now told everyone that we are expecting!

was this a bright move or should i have really waited till wednesday when i am 12 weeks exactly.

Now I am worried I have told everyone too early!!

Babes, if you felt it was the right time for you to tell everyone then that's fine.
Some people wait even longer some people tell as soon as they get their BFP i guess it's whats right for the individual!
Glad everything's going well for you x x

Tell people when YOU and your partner feel ready, not when you think it's 'socially acceptable'.

DS1, we told folk after the test (turned out I was 10 weeks).
DS2, folk guessed. I was ill before a test picked up the pregnancy! So, before 4 weeks!

This time was different. I was strongly advised by one consultant to have a termination so my DH and I only told 1 or 2 friends each, someone to talk too. When we went to the termination appointment and got a second opinion, we told everyone by phone when we got to the car, I was 9/3.

we told my family and the OHs family the day after we found out!
then we told our friends when i was about 7 weeks as i was so ill people has started to ask questions so we just came clean. now everyone knows about it.
i can see why people wait til 12 weeks but if anything did or will happen to me, i want the support of my family and friends.

dont worry about it. atleast now ou dont have to hid it!!

xxx

hey hunni there is no right or wrong way of when to tell people. if you felt ready to tell people then dont worry about it hun. i am glad i told family and friends (was at 6 weeks) as if the worst were to happen again i would need their support. i was planning on waiting til 12 weeks as df didnt want to jinx things by telling people but i had to tell my mum as needed her to look after my girls while i went for an early scan and as i told my mum i only felt that it was fair to tell dfs parents too.

enjoy the fussing you will now get from family, friends and anyone else who knows about your baby. i was really fussed over when i was pg with my eldest was really nice lol. x
