Loosing weight

Hey Girls,

normally while ttc i would have been over the moon about this but since finding out i'm pregnant i've lost 4lbs!

Is that ok? I'm eating more than i normally would snacking through the day to keep the MS at bay right now i really couldn't eat much more.

What should i do?

This is one of the reasons I love being pregnant, because I can only handle eating fresh fruit and veg, and nothing fried or take-away so I tend to lose a fair bit of weight to start with (until the last trimester when I gorge on carbs!)

Although I haven't weighed myself so I don't know for sure, I also think I've lost some weight. My jeans keep trying to fall down I'm eating more carbs than I would normally, cos I just fancy bread and pasta all the time. And I'm starving all the time. So actually you'd think I'd be putting on. Must be all that work the uterus is doing.

xx

Me too hun! I've lost 7+ lbs since my bfp. Dr says its totally normal and I'd put it back on later on and that right now whats most important is that I stay hydrated. You're doing great hunny!

Hey sweetie. Thats totally normal. Dont be surprised if you lose more. the most important thing is that you keep your body well hydrated. Drink lots of water or gatorade. You baby is taking from your stored fats so its very easy to lost some weight.

I've lost a total of 11lbs and i'm almost 13wks. I should start to gain some weight now.

hi ya huni, i just want to say congrads to ya as this is the 1st time i have been back on here in a while been busy with work etc i am glad to hear the trying has paid off...right down to the advice, i am not a skinny person i was a size 18 when i found out i was pg but now i am 16 weeks i have aready got down to a size 14 and lost just over 3 stone...and my mw keeps telling me its fine. i was in and out of hospital at the beginning of the pregnancy where i wasnt keeping any thing down including water and i had to be put on a drip a couple of times bascially what i am trying to say is don't panic as long as your eating and drinking and not throwing it all back up your going to be fine sweetie.....it's probably just your body's way of reacting to the pregnancy! X
