good for you for staying hydrated hon - really important when you are throwing up.

sorry to hear that the HCG results are confusing. I'm really hoping for you that the next test sorts everything out for you, and that it is all good news. big big

OK, slight update...I ran out first thing and got an FRER and a generic digi that is not an early test, so I am hoping to God, although I don't know how to find out for sure, that it is detecting HcG at 50ml/u. Both are .

So....this must be a good sign right? If my digi detects at 50 ml/u then surely the levels have gone up? I feel a bit better but not much.
EDIT: Small sigh of relief...I called the digi helpline and they confirmed that it detects at 50 ml/u. Still will feel better once I get quantitative results, but I think for now I can hold off until Friday. God this is NERVE WRACKING!!!!!!

Just a little FYI on hydration if you are still puking a lot:

try to alternate between water and gatorade if you can (just regular plain old gatorade or pedilyte). You lose a lot of electrolyes when you vomit and just water or sugary drinks won't compensate for that. Im not sure what smartwater all has in it but you are going to need more than just vitamins

Another good thing to get if you can't hold anything down is pedilyte popsicles or freeze gatorade into popcicles and suck on them. Sometimes the slower you ingest things, the easier it is for your stomach to keep it down

Now I can tell my maternity professor that i really did learn something in nursing school

Thanks girls...unfortunately I have LOTS of experience in rehydration! Unfortunately this vomiting thing is nothing new for me...I have a disorder called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, so I've been in the hospital for this before, just not while pregnant! Smartwater has electrolytes in it, so it's better than regular bottled water. Gatorade and pedia-pops are probably a good idea too though!

Anyway the pukes are long gone, at least for now. I don't know whether this last attack was a CVS attack, the start of morning sickness, or a little of both. When I do get these attacks though I always bounce back pretty quickly, but I don't want to push my luck!
