Want twins? Having twins? Could have twins?

hi everybody. I am just abit depressed about all the not so happy threads in the forum about worrying about stuff. I though I would take our minds off worries for abit and I wonder what the ideas about twins are?

-Do you want twins?
-Are you having twins? (gladly, or apprehensive?)
-What is the likeliness of you having twins???

I though this would be interesting to see other ppls POV.

I would like twins, one girl one boy ideally. I don't know if I am going to have twins but there are definately chances there....my mum has a twin brother, her mum has a twin sister, and her mum had a twin (but not sure what). My mum didn't have twins so maybe the gene has faded? or maybe it was saving it for me haha.

Lol this is cute.

I would love twins.....no history what so ever..and I only got one baby inside me now and this is our last pregnancy....so no twins for me unless a WHOOPIES would happen.

BUt you my dear.....it skps a generation.....so your next in line, or if you have brothers or sisters then they may have twins. Good luck! Just Hope you get a nice beauitful healthy baby or babies.

Good thread! Its nice we all have a place to share concerns and support each other, but it's nice to have a bit of fun too!!

I would have LOVED to have twins, I dreamed of having a twin boy and girl from about the age of 5 if not earlier I think! My Nan was pregnant with twins a couple of times, but miscarried them, and she herself was one of a twin, which unfortunately died before birth so I was always convinced I would have twins.

I've not managed to fall pregnant with twins yet, but I console myself with the fact that my son and daughter were only born 13 months apart, so are pretty much as close to being twins as they could be! They even had their own language when they were smaller, and now they are older a lot of people ask me if they are twins as they are just so close in every way. Its amazing.

I had my fingers crossed for a twin pregnancy this time, but at my early scan last week, there was just the one. Hubby and I have already decided this is the last child I'll have, so no twins for me!

My sister has an excellent chance of having twins as her dad's brother is a twin and she is too (sadly it didn't survive

) so fingers crossed for her...she wants lots of children so yay...will have to wait awhile to see though as she's only 15 now lol.

We have twins in our family, they seem to skip a couple of generations. So its gonna be me or my sister!! I wouldn't mind... it would be sooooooo exciting!

my bf has twins in his family on both his mums nd his dads side so it is highly likely that i culd b carrying twins myself will have 2 wait til monday 2 find out tho xx

My aunty had twins then her son had twins then I had twins and then my sister had twins - so yeah it runs in our family!!! LOL

I would love twins!

My mum has twins on her dad's side, but no other occurrences despite numerous kids and grandkids in the family so you never know!

Only 2 and 1/2 weeks until my first u/s...that will let us know one way or another. One little healthy bean is great. Two would be awesome!!!

MY partner is a twin, and my nan was a twin but her twin miscarried at 3months and same happened with my nans daughter (my mum) and my mum with my brother. Any chance I could have them or maybe next generation as my boyfriend is one?
