Hey Girls,

Ok so i'm just past the 5 week mark and until now i've just been getting the normal queeziness and dizzy spells etc. But today i've started getting really strong pains really low down like O pains on both sides. is that normal or should i be worried?

Hiya - Yeah I experienced that aswell. Also had a stitch-like pain in my right hand side. I don't think it's anything to worry about

Period pain is basically caused by the uterus expanding and contracting, and now that you're pregnant the same sort of shape changes are happening.. so it makes sense that you'd feel some pain. I've only had a few minor twinges, but like all the other girls have said, I wouldn't worry :-)

I've had exactly the same. Your body is just changing to get ready for the bub. I've had everything from sharp pains and dull aches to period-type pains. It's all normal, so try not to worry (easier said than done, I know!).

Good luck
