Had my 6 week scan due to bleeding and now have 8 week scan booked - bit scared

Hi there

I posted recently about bleeding I had been having which I thought was part of my cervical erosion problems so had a 6 week scan last monday. They could see the sac and no problem areas around which could cause the bleeding so that was good.

They never confirmed they could see the heartbeat so still super worried

Have an 8 week scan next monday - if that is going well should they be able to see the heartbeat?

Im so worried they wont and it was hard enough getting to that 6 week scan hoping everything was ok and it was but now need to make it this week 8 one..

Seems to be I am just going from a build up of nerves to the next build up!!

Keeping positive!!! (well trying to!)

Oh honey, most early assessment scans are done from 7 weeks... so they can see a heartbeat. Maybe 6 weeks is just a bit early. Try not to worry, I'm sure things will be ok.

The good news is that they couldn't see any problem...so fingers crossed everything will be fine next Monday. I understand how torturous the waiting is, though. Good luck, hun

I didnt see a heartbeat until 7+1 thats why they dont usually book scans until 7-8 weeks as it can make you more worried but as in your case and alot of cases they will scan earlier if they have a bleed but it is really worrying hun and i know its hard but you just have to try to not worry, im sure everything will be fine.
