I am thinking of using reusables and there are loads of useful threads in the eco-products part of the forum.

Hope that helps, I've no actual advice to give yet!

Hi Diz, I plan on using reusables and there seems to be sooooooooooo much choice its bewildering!

There are websites that will guide you through a questionaire to identify your needs and priorities and make suggestions based on that but I have had a severe case of baby brain and can't think of the names of the websites... Sorry...

I believe many mommies try a few different types and trial them before they take the plunge and buy a bulk load.

I plan to buy a type called 'Pop-Ins' (you can see them on e-bay) which are one size, birth to toddler but a few people have said when the baby is born if its under 10lb (which I hope it is!), these will be a bit too big. I've decided to use eco-friendly disposables for the first few weeks when we come out of hospital until our LO grows into the reusables and to give me one less thing to think about when we are first home.

If you are looking for a bargain, in Sainsburys last week they had Kooshies/Kushies? Ultra all in one reusable nappies reduced to £2 each as they were discontinued . I bought a few and I think they will be good back ups to my main ones...

Good luck!
