Good luck convincing him of Rowan! It is a really nice name.

I got bored so I looked up some more lol..

Branwen
Chaos
Clove/Cloven
Draven
Griffin
Israfel
Shade
Shadow
Thorne

There's loads on this page - http://www.namenerds.com/uucn/goth.html - but most seem to be more feminine.

I love Drake it would go with Blade perfectly. That was what they called Dracula in the third Blade movie!!

Thought this would be a thread of really strange names - but its not. There are some really beautiful male names on here.

I have a friend who changed his name to Loki. He also changed his surname to mean "son of the riverbed" which I think is wonderful. Its not everyone's cup-of-tea (probably including mine), I think unusual names are wonderful.

Hope you find the name you like

How about going with something that isn't straight out of a Anne Rice novel? You might like the name, but your kid has to live with it for the rest of his life. There's nothing wrong with going with something unusual, but at least have the decency to make it something that won't make it easier for other kids to make yours miserable.

I agree this is completely rude and extremely uncalled for!!!!!!

What someone chooses to name their child is their business and your judgement of them is uncalled for.
