Horrible Sore Throat

I have a HORRIBLE sore throat. Any treatment ideas that are safe for sprout and may work? I'm going to go home from work and rest, but something to ease the pain would be nice.

If I'm not feeling better by tomorrow I think I'll call my dr.

Tylenol/paracetemol is safe to take. You might also try some hard candies or gargling with warm salt water. Hope you feel better soon

Yeah take some Tylenol and suck on hard candies. Also, maybe if you chew some Alpine gum, or really strong gum if you don't want to try the Alpine. I don't think its got enough medication stuff in it to really be harmful. You could always ask your pharmacist.

Are strepsils safe or do they have a decongestant?

When I was a few months pregnant I had a terribly sore throat... I boiled water with sliced lemons and a bit of sugar to drink. I drank it all day long, it really helped soothe my throat!

Hope your feeling better! x0x
