mozzi bites im allergic what can i use thats ok ?


hiya i got mozzi bites every where and im so allergic to them its driving me mad i know i cant use my antihistamines pills no more but are the creams ok ?

avon skin so soft...miraculous!!! i am alergic to them too and nothing worked but recommended this and it is fab! and smells nice and is cheap happy days

Also make sure you are taking enough vitamin b; apparently they don't like blood with high levels in it and don't bite for long!...worked for the me on honeymoon!

to sooth the ones you have I would say savlon; don't think antihistemien creams are okay...but not positive...

Patient Information
Boots Bite and Sting Relief Antihistamine Cream (Mepyramine Maleate)
20g
A soothing cream for the relief of pain, itching and swelling caused by insect
stings and bites, and nettle stings.
Adults and Children over 2 years:
Smooth gently on to the affected area.
Use this cream 2 to 3 times a day for up to 3 days.
Do not use on children under 2 years.
If a rash develops or the condition gets worse, stop using this cream.
If symptoms do not go away, talk to your doctor.
If accidentally swallowed, talk to a doctor straight away.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or other antihistamines.
Do not use if you have eczema or other skin conditions.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless advised by your
doctor.
Do not apply to broken skin, sunburnt skin or on large areas of skin.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
This medicine may sometimes cause allergic reactions.
If concerned, or if anything else unusual happens, talk to your pharmacist or
doctor.
KEEP ALL MEDICINES OUT OF THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN.

i read that doctors can prescribe anti histamines if it's really bad - they're more liekly to prescribe an older type like Piriton. Best speak with them though - dont buy it off your own back.

eat lots of garlic - the bugs hate it!!

thats what i use piriton we have huge trees here and mozzies every where last bad case was i got bitten on my eye brow and it closed my eye completly i had to use the creams and piriton just scared it might happen again
