So I went for my 29 week appointment. The good is that I am measuring the right size! The rest is nothing major, but no fun still.
My bloodpressure has been awesome uptil now, Now it's registering as the bottom of high 144/88. End result is close monitering and blood work
Depression and anxiety (pregnancy and external issues) are eating me up. Chances are I will be going on meds for it at my next appointment. OH and I wanted to talk a bit before we took the prescription but so far we think it's the best option as it will help with post partum and it takes 4 weeks to really be effective.
Still have to go for glucose testing probably later today. Yeah! more needles Plus a bunch of needles for other stuff.
And I'm losing weight apparently but baby is still growing so I'm not quite sure how to take that.
Now that I am living out of town we discussed a bunch of things that are of concern with proximity of medical attention. And the doctor mentioned kick counts today. He says that I need to be getting 6 movements in an hour and if not I am supposed to go to the hospitial! Well.... Right off the bat I can say that I know I won't get that! SO, now I need to figure out what size of a grain of salt to take with that info.
Anyways thanks for listening to my rambles... I now get on here as often as I can (anytime someone can drive me to town)
Six an hour seems like an awful lot. I know my LO has times and days when's she's just not as active as other times. Sorry you had a bad appointment, but at least they know to keep an eye on the blood pressure now

It's six per hour, in an active hour for baby. If she has less than that, or if she can't get LO to have an active part of the day, she should get checked.

Thanks. I was kinda confused about that... I have days recently that there isn't an "active" part. How long (many days) should I let it go before I do start to worry? Today LO has been active however the previous two days have been super quiet and no amount of "harassing" (poking proding ect.) has roused LO.
if you can't get LO to make 6 movements in the course of one hour (any hour) and you've been told by your midwife to be doing your kick counts (I didn't start mine till 32 weeks), you need to ring her and let her know what's going on.
