I love your choice of names hun as long as you love the name you pick who cases what anyone else thinks! I've had a few comments about our choice of Evie Louise but I just try to ignore them. If everyone liked the same names it would get very confusing in the classroom when all the kids were called the same! x

Not sure where you live but those names are not at all unusual over here in Canada. In fact Aiden in particular is extremely popular. I think they are all lovely names.

As some of the others suggested, just don't tell anyone your pick until after baby is born. People tend to be more critical when it is a "suggestion", but once it is your baby's name they just have to (hopefully) shut up and like it. Hubby and I have a name for our son but haven't told a soul...not even on here. Quite frankly we love the more unusual names and don't want to hear anyone's negative comments.

On your first choices, my sister is Margaret Ann, It is pretty, she doesn't like it and requests we call her Mags, and my grandmother who is also a Margaret has always been called Peggy as a pet version aparently!

We used a variant on a name, we liked Emily and Emma but they were both very popular at the time so we used Emmie, I love it, it is lovely written and spoken, my dd loves it and there are no more Emmie's in her school. I have heard it a few times since, including someone who heard it from us!

Good luck in name choosing, I find it almost impossible!!

lovely name choices - they are unusual but not totally out there!
this is the exact reason why we will not be telling anyone our name choices until little one is named!
