how is your pregnancy calculated?

Hey just wanted to know how everyones pregnancy got calculated by their doctor?
When i had my 10week scan, and got my due date of 28th june, that meant i was pregnant for 10 weeks since my LMP right? I honestly cant remember from my first pregnancy.

The dates only make sense if i count from my last period.

Usually that's what they do count from the first day of your last period.

Usually they start off with counting from the first day of your last period, but then at your 12 week scan if it's alot different (my midwife said more than 5 days makes it alot different) they'll change the date based on what the scan says. Counting from your period only works if you have a regular 28 day cycle and ovulate on cd 14.

There was a 4 day difference, i must of ovulated late. Im sticking with my scan dates

mine was done on my LMP and i was having a regular 28day cycle leading into this pregnancy so baby is offically overdue

my due date was based on my LMP but confirmed by scan as it gave the exact same date. and my cycles are always 28 days so I knew it couldnt be off by much.
