Question for those who have just had babies!!

When you were in labour, did you still feel your baby move? I've heard their movement is meant to slow down. When I have Braxton hicks I can still feel him moving sometimes so I was wondering if it would be a way to tell the difference if they don't move during labour.

When I was in hospital the women in labour kept getting asked "is the baby still moving?" So I guess you're meant to feel it moving..

I didn't feel my son whilst I was in labour. Or maybe I was pre-occupied to notice it. You may get some slight movement, but as the head is engaged in your pelvis, he/she isn't going to beable to move alot. So maybe some small kicks at the top of your belly where the feet are. They usually have a heart monitor strapped to you during labour anyway, so movement isn't a big issue.

You'll know when you're in labour and not practicing, it does feel alot different. My contractions tightened and started to hurt at the start of labour. Wasn't until my waters broke that the pain was emence.
