Period pains and lots of bump hardening

Hi Ladies

For the past day ish, i have been having some dull period pains and lots of bump hardening! Sometimes the pain goes from my back and radiates around my hips. Can get alot of hardenings in one hour. Is this normal? Find it very difficult to sleep at the moment as well.

Just a bit of an update.... Still getting the pains and the hardenings seem to be quite regular, but i wouldn't say they were painful.
Feeling a bit damp down there (sorry for TMI) and when i wiped earlier my discharge was different then what it normally is, the only way i can describe it, is it looks like c.u.m. (Sorry again) Very snotty. Nice eh? lol

Sounds quite normal, I've been getting this too, for a good few weeks now and midwife wasn't worried when I mentioned it at last appt but if you're worried then ring midwife for advice!

It sounds like braxton hicks. Its just your body gearing up for labour, yay

Your body producing more mucus now your near your due date is also normal.

Exciting eh!

if you are getting worried about it, then i would phone you midwife and explain it to her, she will probably tell you to phone the hospital or birthing clinic, and they will then tell you to go to hospital for a check up x

YES! I have been getting them too and I went to the doctor yesterday for the exact same reasons! They said it is completely normal and my cervix is closed. I read somewhere you can get braxton hicks this early.

Same exact thinh happened to me, snot like discharge, minor period pains, i went to labour jus to be safe n they told me i was 5cms dilated so nw im in the hospital prayin for the best! Wish me luck ladies xx
