quinny buzz question

Finally bit the bullet and went and bought the quinny buzz 4 in colour storm this afternoon, got it for an amazing £295 from Fenwick!! Quick question though! Does everyone recommend buying the seperate carrycot as I'm thinking maybe the seat unit plus footmuff will do? Also any thoughts on the buggy itself? Thanks guys x

personally i would get the carrycot but that is just me as i like 2 have newborns in a pram 4 the 1st few months but at the same time if u dont mind not using one then i am sure the seat unit is fine as it is designed from birth (i almost got one!) when is baby due?

it should still be warmish then i guess. it is nice 2 have baby in a carrycot 4 the colder months tho. but plenty of people just do the buggy thing so u wont be alone if u dont decide 2 go 4 a carrycot! i just dont like the thought of a 5point harness on baby all the time.

yeah know what you mean! I reckon the dreami cot could be used as a moses basket for when we visit friends/family too so your prob right its worth buying!notice there were a few on ebay too (brand new)

To be honest you will prob need the carrycot too as newborns are supposed to line flat for the first few months and the seat unit is more a sitting position. I bought one for mine and he slept in it during the day too so I could leave the moses basket upstairs out of the way, so it was quite practical too!!

The only thing is they aren't in them very long, my son lasted 4 months then wanted to be looking at everything so we moved him to the seat unit, so I would suggest getting one second hand if you can as it won't have been used much and will be soooo much cheaper xx

I got my Quinny Buzz secondhand and the Dreami was included. I loved it. Simon napped really well in it and I used it a lot. After four months, though, he was too big and wiggly. I do not know if I would have bought it if I was paying full-price.
Baby gear is always a tough call: do you spend cash on something that will make your life easier for those four months or do you tough it out and spend it on something that you'll get a few years out of?
Sorry! I just read all of that back and realized that my answer was really no help to you whatsoever!

I bought a dreami! It just looked so comfy and I just like Them! They seem more comfy and that for a newborn! I also plan to use it downstairs too during day for baby to sleep in! Saves dragging Moses basket Up n down the stairs also then I will feel baby much safer as I'm worried about my son climbing or knocking baby over in Moses basket ect, il also be there watching but you can't help but worry can you! Lol. We also bought a new carseat that will click onto it, we have a buzz and a zap and thought this may be easier for those quick half hour outings rather than dragging out the whole pram iykwim, plus it was a gd excuse to invest in a pink carseat as he one we had originally was black. We for the carseat of eBay for £50p&p and it's in ex condition, normally u would pay over 100, so I do agree I would look on eBay for any extras you plan to buy, you can get great deals on perfect items. However I would suggest if you get the carseat 1nd hand make sure it's never been in any accidents ect the one we bought had been kept in a 2nd car barely used and we've had it checked over by local fire service to make sure it's undamaged and safe ext.xx

sorry I've babbled a little
