VBAC hopeful Mummies!

Feel free to remove this if there is another on here but I couldn't see one! x

I thought it might be a nice idea to start a thread for any mummies(mommies) Who are hoping to try for a Vbac.

I had my first child 19 nearly 20 months ago via Emergency section. I didn't have the best experience in the world and to be honest on scared of a vaginal and c section birth.

I have an appointment with the consultant next Thursday to discuss why I had my previous section and the chances of me having another.

I think deep down i really want a Vbac. I get so jealous of women who have experienced a vaginal birth and i want to feel that to.

So if any one who has had a VBAC and can offer some support or advice would be appreciated?

I the mean time i hope us VBAC Mummies get the births we want x x

Im hopefully going to be VBAC-ing it up!
Iv seen a thread around here somewhere but havent got too long to go hunt for it-sorry!

I had a crash section for Brooke so obviously never even got to labour-LOL! iv been given the go-ahead as long as my blood pressure stays as normal as it has been so far and that the baby continues to grow. Im consultant led too, and have a scan every 3 weeks now up until the birth.

Good Luck in getting your wish! I shall keep my eyes peeled

Hey! It's possible.... I had an emergency c-section 2001 (labour not progressing & baby was distressed). I went on to have a VBAC in 2003 and another VBAC in 2004 - and they are so much better than a c-section (In my opinion).

If I can remember, they just kept a closer eye on my during labour in case my scar was affected, but everything went smoothly.

Wishing you lots of lick and and hope you get the birth you want! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm currently hopeful of a vbac. I had an emergency section as I was failing to progress and my daughter got stuck. My doctor is ordering a growth scan at 36/37 weeks we will be deciding if it's the right option for me. Right now my doctor is supportive, I'm hopeful, we shall see...

I'm hoping for a vbac, I had an emergency section in 2005 with my son, as I collapsed with pre eclampsia.
