I don't think anyone intends to be mean... lots of people love animals and are very saddened at the thought of them being abandoned. It is very common for that to happen when a new baby comes along, even though usually the fear for the baby is unfounded.

But she never said she was going to abandom her cat just asked what did everyone else thinks she should do. And that was mean weither it was intended to be or not. But I totally understand why people would be upset jsut to be more tactful of how they word things. That's all I was saying.
