I've no idea honey and I'm booked in for a homebirth??

Who mentioned this? My MW advised me of a few bits they would need me to have in the house, but nothing is expensive and TBH it's things most people would probably already have.

I just watched clips of 'Outlaw births' on youtube and they said that as a result of her deciding to have an unassisted birth the hospital have refused to give her the free homebirth kit she would normally be entitled to... That was a couple of years ago so perhaps they don't do them now..?

I am not sure - I think they give you plastic sheets to pt over your bed or wherever you give birth? I will be discussing it with my mw at the next appt, I will drop in and let you know what she says!

I've got mine, but I think different PCTs probably include different things. Mine has stuff like inco pads, sterile kits (birth, sutures, etc. - they're sterile, so I dare not open them), Vitamin K for the baby, cord clamps, local anaesthetic, sutures, needles, syringes, labour notes, gloves, amnihook, straight catheter...

You should really provide the big plastic sheets.
