runny eggs


i found some eggs in asda that have been vaccinated against salmonella, does this mean i can have a chucky egg? or do i still have to bloody wait 6 months lol

As long as they have the red lion stamp they are fine hun

i have avoided them like the plaque coz im paranoid i will be the bugger that gets samonella! lol

You have to ask yourself this hun...

have you ever caught it before? (when you were not pregnant)

If you've eaten them all your life without any problems there is exactly the same likelihood of you catching it whilst you are pregnant

Plus - the Lion stamped eggs that are on sale pretty much everywhere come from certified salmonella free environments therefore they are perfectly safe to eat xx

I heard you have a weakened immune system while pregnant though, and so a much higher chance and that's why they say no?

I haven't been pregnant very long, but I already miss my runny eggs! I love them, hehe. Hard boiled just doesn't compare!
