I completely understand how you feel. I have always wanted my little girl. I am pg with our first and about 90% sure it's a boy (just a feeling) so I'm a little sad as I think we are only going to have one LO. I know I will love the baby regardless and, as others have said, I'm sure any negative feelings we have will immediately wash away as soon as we hold our little boys.

It sounds like you feel exactly like I do hehe which is cool. Though I really do love my growing son, he's my world x What a lucky girl to have got the wee guy that you wanted so badly, I'm so happy for you At the end of the day, there really are benefits to having boys or girls and actually I've heard that boys are easier to raise so this could be a very good thing!

You can't help the way you feel. I really wanted a boy as there is a risk factor with girls in Hubbys family. I had to really prepare for if they told me girl and i obsessed and panicked over it for weeks but in the end i just thought, we are given what we are meant to have. This gave me comfort xx

Awwwww a friend of mine had 4 girls. They loved them very much but really wanted a boy. They tried again..... another girl. So they tried again...... another girl!

They were so proud of their 6 girls and said no more,

But.... they went for just one more try....

Now they have 6 girls and a beautiful boy!!!

I hope things turn out as you want them xxxx

I REALLY wanted a girl. I was desperate for a girl - I don't know why - I just was. Maybe because I am an only child and was very close to my mum I was (perhaps selfishly) hoping to have a similar relationship with my little girl.

I found out a few weeks ago I was having a little boy and I was so pleased that he is all healthy and growing well with no obvious signs of problem.

I love my little boy already and can't wait for him to arrive but I am a little sad it wasn't a girl.

xxx

I already have a daughter, and only ever imagined myself with girls, id had a terrible childhood because of this i grew up disliking men, when i found out i was preg, i was sure it was a girl, a well known celeb psychic even told me id have a girl, so to say i was shocked when they told me boy was a understatement, ( boys do run more in OH's family so i shouldnt have been that shocked really ) this was always going to be my last pregnancy ( thats if everything carries on going well, touch wood ) i feel so lucky, that im going to be having one of each,if im honest if i had another girl, i would have wanted a boy some day,

Im over the moon to be having a boy, i get to experience having a daughter and a son. something a lot of people would like ( one of each )
My daughter is extemely happy to be having a lil brother, and my OH loves the idea of having another son

i think its natural to be dissapointed, i mean at the start of our pregnancies we all know what we would like, and sometimes let our imagination get carried away,

im sure one day you will have a lil princess, which will mean your lil man will be big brother and have his sister to look out for

x

I can understand, I have a feeling this is a boy I want another boy. I can't explain why I love my little girl but there's something about little boys and their Mums. LOL.

This is my last baby to so I can't help wondering if i'll be disapointed if it's a girl, (girls run in my df's line.) But saying that I wondered that about my daughter and after I saw her for first time I was just so proud girl boy i don't think at the end it''ll matter too much!

Im the same! Both me and hubby want a girl, but i reckon we'll get a boy. Not sure why. But whenever i imagine the future, i find it so hard to imagine a boy there. I imagine going to the beach, having birthday parties etc & its always a girl i imagine: it feels weird to put a boy in that picture, like "he"'s not meant to be there?!
Thats why i want to find out the sex, so that i can get imagining a bit better!

Having said that, if we were to have 1 of each, id like the boy to be the older one. I really really want to find out!
