Contractions Question

Recently I have been having irregular contractions; ranging from 20 minutes to an hour apart. However the part that is confusing me is that they last about 3-5 minutes in length. Is this normal? I thought they were only supposed to be 30-90 seconds? When they are only every 5 minutes apart will it just be one long continuous one?

Sounds more like irregular BH's tbh.

But yeah, labour contractions can last much longer than 90secs.

I had four, 4min contractions (After contraction for about 8hrs, irregular but still gettin them every 6-18mins apart) They hurt... they brought me to my knees i couldnt talk through them... looking back kinda think those contractions were ones that may have opened my cervix that 1 more cm.

Thanks! Yeah, I figured they are BH, because of how irregular they have been, but when they lasted so long it left me confused because I did not know they last this long! (BH or labor contractions)
