Induction of labour for chronic pain?

I know that you can get induced if you have severe SPD but does anyone have experience with scoliosis? I have had it since I was 13 and was coping ok with the pain but the last 4 days I've been in constant pain and barely able to walk. Getting to a point now where I can't cope anymore. Have a consultant appointment tomorrow at 39 weeks and was wondering what the chances were that I would be allowed to be induced?

Sorry hun, no experience of this but didnt wanna read n run.
Good luck with the appointment, go prepared with all your thoughts ready to fire at them.
The closest I got was been offered a sweep at 39 weeks which I had, also, as your probably know, had another this week but that hasn't helped either
Big and hope it goes in your favour x

Lol turning on the tears shouldnt be hard. Have spent most of yesterday and this morning close to tears. I'm hoping they will agree to induction cos my poor mum is my other birth partner and she has to come from Bristol so its a 2 hour drive lol.
