Is this swelling?

Last night I was trying to extract a blackhead on my forehead (TMI, i know, but it's part of my story lol) and whenever I stopped and took my fingers away from that spot i had visible indentions where my fingers had been. like my face was made of dough and i had poked it lol. they went away eventually but it was weird that it just left a dent like that in my forehead... is that just swelling? it's kinda weird... i knew my ankles and fingers were getting really swollen but not my face. i guess i thought it was just plain old fat hehe

Sounds like it could be and swelling in the face is a sign of preeclampsia. Definitely give your midwife/doctor a call and see what they say. In the meantime, really up your water intake... like 10 8oz glasses a day at least.

Oh wow. I'll definitely do that... I was thinking it was humorous but now I'm nervous!

If you're unsure I would 100% definatly get checked. I had pre eclampsia with my first pregnancy and didnt realise I had a swollen face either. . .along with everything else

Get checked to be on the safe side-dont worry about looking foolish if you're not-better safe than sorry IMO!! xx

tmi, but that happens to me when i get a little too aggressive on the spot extracting too
if it was me, i wouldnt worry :/ but if you are worried, get checked out

now i'm kinda freaked because i looked up all these preeclampsia symptoms and i think i've convinced my self i have all of them... lol
