Dreampod

Has anyone used a Dreampod before? or are they intending using one?

I was just looking on the net at the cot bedding i am wanting and saw these

http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/product-7340717/type-i/

They seem a pretty good idea? i would only need to buy bumper, and some sheets as it says not to use blankets/duvets with the dreampod. I know someone who has used one who said they think its brilliant but wanted more opinions....

Obviously i will buy a few fleeces/blankets for when baby is in the pram, bounncer etc..

These seem to be all the rage over here, and everyone I know of with children has used one and were all happy with them.

I´m going to use one, as I think one of the advantages of them is that baby is always covered up at night so (hopefully) won´t wake up due to coldness, and there is no risk of them getting the blanket over their head.

They're lovely. We had this one from M&P: http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/produ...045302/type-i/
Then we got a few from the Grobag company and Sainsburys do nice ones too!
This is the one we have for Bethanie now and it's gorgeous: http://www.next.co.uk/shot.asp?b=X41...6nb%3d%26np%3d

There lovely, that one from next is so reasonably priced too... i could get two for price of the winnie the pooh one...

Another question!

2.5 tog isn't very thick, is that warm enough for baby? i keep worrying it will be too cold? my house is quite cold should i keep heating on low all the time when baby arrives??? sorry to be thick but i read somewhere that if room tenmperates change all the time get too hot/cold its a factor in SIDS?

Jules you can buy a simple thermometor (I got one free with our Grobag) - it says the tog and nursery temp and how many layers you should have. I personally feel that 2.5 is plenty, we use a 1 in summer.
