Delaware.

My doula just lets me talk about how I'm feeling--you can imagine I've got plenty to whine about in these final uncomfortable stages. She's got a lending library and brought me specific books about the stuff we discussed. Her visits last about 2 hours. Just trying to get really comfortable with each other because on the day I give birth she'll have to deal with me really up close and personal--maybe even buck naked. Also--we talk about our plan for the big day. I don't want her to be a stranger. So far so good.

nfm - that sounds really good. You are totally making me want to get a doula. I'm gonna get that number from my SIL soon! Very soon! And yes, I can imagine you have PLENTY to complain about at this point! I'm sooo anxious to hear about how your next labor goes! (I bet not as anxious as you are though! LOL).

Oh - so again - is it too early in the game for me to start calling doulas, or does it matter??
