VBAC at home. Updated with the letter to head midwife - Page 2

Thanks girls,

I don't want to be too excited but seems that Ill be getting my home VBAC.
Had a call from my consultant, and was all ready to argue with him, but all he wanted to know if I had any complications with my c-section (I didn't) and he said, that they can't really stop me having a home birth and have to support me in my decision.

So now I have to wait for a call from midwife supervisor who has to go through the risks and also so we can discuss my future care.

I am really pleased, as I thought I will have to have a long battle. Now I just have to pray that nothing will go wrong and baby will be in a right position.

That's great! Under their own rules and procedures (as I'm sure you knew) they could have done almost nothing to stop you. Really hoping that it all goes smoothly from here...
