thats ex's for you. Well some of them anyway! Im expecting OH's ex to do her nut when she finds out im pregnant. Cant believe ive hid it 6 months!

OH's ex was actually a bit ahem...normal about us being pregnant. But, she did find out (via a loud mouthed SIL on facebook) before we were ready to tell the kids, and so she told their daughter (but not their son?? strange), and completely ruined our special announcement. I was crushed, but I've come to expect behaviour like that from her. I am always waiting for the other shoe to drop when she's acting like a civilized human being...I know it's only temporary, and only serves her purpose.

Oh, indeed! The weekend of Father's Day, she sent them to us and Scotty had hand, foot and mouth disease (contagious), but she didn't feel it was necessary to inform OH of it until he had driven over 2 hours to go get them...and then she couldn't understand why he was upset considering the fact that I wouldn't be able to be near them as I'm preg!!! Stupid cow! Poor OH was stressing so much, that I called our health line and asked the nurse about it...so after all, it was fine to be around him, but still...she refused to keep them (even though the poor darling should've been resting in bed) cuz she was going out drinking.

Can I join you? My step son is 10, we have him on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. In fact I am sitting here watching my OH and him doing his homework.

Homework that was given to him on Friday, has sat languishing in his bedroom at his mom's since and arrived at ours the night before it has to be in... not that I'm bitter

Wow only just found this group! So glad cos its such a nightmare cos people dont understand what its like. My OH has a son who is 2 who we have every other weekend. OH's ex found out through 1 of OH's friends who has a bit of a big mouth so she has known for a while. She is actually being fairly pleasant atm but I think thats more to do with the fact that she has a new boyfriend.

omg i love this group already

I have 2 stepsons that i see from my 1st marriage. i dont see their father and neither do they as he was convicted of abh towards me. they was always a bit iffy with him anyways but i had a son by him so they come and see me and son and play with him. its great. they are lovely. 1 is 15 and the oldest is 18 now. known them both since they were extremely ickle. hehe.

Next, is my OH. He has a boy and a girl. the boy is 11 and the girl is 8. however they live miles away and we see them about once a month. The boy isnt all that fussed on me or son and makes little or no effort when he is around us. and the girl is the complete opposite. We have them coming down for a week when kids break up from school so we can tell them about this baby. all i can say is EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!!!

we're still trying to get visitation but his ex is stalking me n the internet! ugh! and she privates everything so we can't see pics of the baby

OMG Im so frickin angry. We were supposed to be picking OHs son up at 8am to go to a family party. OHs ex text at almost 11pm to say that she was stuck in Swansea cos she had had a problem with her train and so now everything is all messed up. Had OH on the phone from work in tears! She is going to let me know when she is on the train in the morning what time I can come pick him up. But now I basically have to drop OH to work for 11am and then drive by myself up to Bedford to his cousins house for the party, wait for the go ahead to pick up the little boy, leave the party and drive half an hour each way to go get him, and then go back to the party. OH is devastated cos he now cant come to the party as he was planning on coming after work and obviously now I will have the car. Hes really worried that she will text again tomorrow and say she is stuck still and cant get home so we wont be able to have him. Why does she do this?!
