Some people I've spoken to have had to wait till about 12 weeks to see a mw. The appointments get booked up fast. I booked 3 weeks in advance for my 16 week appointment and still couldn't get one till I was closer to 17 weeks. Doctors rarely see you about your pregnancy until the later stages unless you have a problem, in which case they normally see you quite quickly. I think it's because hpt are so good that you don't need a doctor to confirm it. You can't get a false positive. Even the midwife doesn't give you a pregnancy test.

I'm Currently Feeling:

I was about 5 weeks along and was seeing the OB for a lump on my breast. I had made the appointment two weeks ahead of time. Looking back I was about 3 weeks pregnant (obviously I couldn't know I was pregnant I was about 4 dpo). Ended up doing POAS 5 days after I made the appointment whereby I had a BFP .

Went to doc when I was about 5 weeks along, and they were surprised when I said I just found out I was pregnant too. So they did a confirmation office pee test, and told me to come back when I was at least 8-9 weeks along.

That was a long wait. LOL.
